Where We Grow

Propagation Services Canada

Delta, BC

Agraflora has deployed over $30-million in plant, property and equipment expenditures (PPE) at its phase 1 Delta greenhouse complex retrofit in preparation for receipt of its standard cultivation licence from Health Canada. Agraflora’s Delta greenhouse complex is second in size and magnitude only to the Smiths Falls facility owned by Canopy Growth Corp., the world’s largest cannabis company. By way of additional comparison, Agraflora’s Delta facility is 100,000 square feet larger than Aurora Cannabis Inc.’s facility in Edmonton, Alta., and it is also more than 700,000 square feet larger than the current size of the Leamington facility owned by Aphria Inc.


Delta Greenhouse Complex is equipped with industry-leading cultivation infrastructure, including:

  • Estimated $190-million replacement value;
  • Fully integrated on-site natural-gas-powered power plant;
  • Providing ample heat and electricity, while repurposing carbon dioxide emissions to benefit the plants;
  • Proprietary energy-efficient air exchange;
  • Advanced climate and humidity control management infrastructure;
  • Ebb-and-flow watering systems to enhance complete irrigation recapture and water treatment;
  • 1.5-million-gallon hot water storage tank configured to store energy produced during the day, for redistribution during non-peak hours, thereby increasing operational efficiencies and reducing associated energy costs;
  • Multistage supplemental lighting augmented by natural sunlight to foster optimized illumination equilibrium.

AAA Heidelberg

London, ON

AAA Heidelberg is a boutique, small-batch, craft AAA Heidelberg is a licensed cannabis cultivation facility under Health Canada’s Access to Cannabis for Medical Purposes Regulations (ACMPR). The AAA Heidelberg facility is equipped with five partitioned flower rooms, affording the company ample canopy earmarked for ultrapremium craft cannabis cultivation. that produces high-quality cannabis with unique genetics demanding a premium price. AAA Heidelberg operates out of a 8,800 square foot indoor growing facility in London, Ontario.

The company previously provided the following third quarter 2019 to fourth quarter 2020 operating guidance and licensing milestones pertaining to its AAA Heidelberg facility:

  • Application and anticipated receipt of a Health Canada-awarded sales licence;
  • Application and anticipated receipt of a Health Canada-awarded processing licence;
  • Application and anticipated receipt of a Health Canada-issued export permit;
  • Proposed on-site dispensary as per Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario (AGCO) regulations:
  • Potential 1.5-million-purchaser catchment area within a 90-minute radius;
  • Importation of a catalogue of premium craft cannabis genetics;
  • Fully optimized production capabilities of about ten million grams of ultrapremium dried craft cannabis flower, with potential production expansion based off surplus cultivation areas contemplated;
  • Successful recapture of 225,000 grams of premium cannabis trim to be manufactured into ancillary value-added cannabis products;
  • Successful harvest of inaugural ultrapremium craft cannabis crop;
  • Proposed export of finished cannabis form factors to emerging marketplaces, including India and Thailand, achieving unit contribution of up to $15 per gram.
AAA Heidelberg

Kent County, NB

The Company will leverage its 76-acre riverfront Kent county, New Brunswick, cannabis campus and its cannabis research licence from Health Canada under the Cannabis Regulations Act to formulate/synthesize its infused topicals product suite. AgraFlora’s cannabis campus, formerly a federally owned farm and research facility, boasts over 17,500 square feet of commercial-grade production facilities, as well as 12 separate free-standing structures.
AgraFlora is conducting a retrofit to seven of the non-core operating buildings at its cannabis campus. The retrofit is projected to be completed concurrent to AgraFlora’s 2020 industrial hemp plating initiatives and will include:

  • Structural restorations;
  • Water system restoration;
  • Ventilation system maintenance; and,
  • Additional processing/laboratory/storage area preparation.

Our Team

Brandon Boddy

Chairman, CEO & Director

Mr. Brandon Boddy contributes over 14 years of capital markets experience and has directly raised over $500m in the trailing 24 months. Mr. Boddy is a founding director of Auxly Cannabis Group Inc. (formerly Cannabis Wheaton Income Corp.) and is currently a director of Bee Vectoring Technologies International Inc. In addition, Mr. Boddy was a founder of US Cobalt Corp., which was subsequently sold to First Cobalt Corp. for $149 million in 2018.

Mr. Boddy also acts as a corporate advisory consultant for a portfolio of public and private firms, primarily focused on the health and wellness, mining and cannabis sectors.

Mr. Boddy is actively involved in a of variety philanthropic endeavours. A former NCAA Division One athlete, Mr. Boddy provides opportunities in golf for at risk youth, byway of his foundation, Clubs for Kids.

Peter Nguyen

CFO

Mr. Nguyen is a Chartered Professional Accountant and holds a degree from the University of British Columbia. He is an officer and director of several reporting companies listed on the TSX Venture Exchange and the CSE with both domestic and international operations. Mr. Nguyen has held senior financial positions for both public and private companies where he provided assurance, corporate finance, tax and business advisory services.

Jan Urata

Corporate Secretary

Ms. Urata is the Founder and President of Take It Public Services Inc., since 2011, a highly motivated legal support service for top tier and junior issuers in a variety of industry sectors. She is well versed in taking corporate entities from initial seed capital stage to publicly listed status. Her services include corporate secretarial to regulatory filings to complex transactions while offering corporate sustainability through cost-effective, efficient and timely services. Her business model focuses on performance, attention to detail and results, ensuring success and quality of work, with over 25 years’ experience in the industry. The business grew out of her years of experience as a legal secretary/paralegal in top Vancouver law firms. She is also Corporate Secretary of several TSX Venture Exchange issuers.

Brian O’Neill

Director

Mr. O’Neill has been a practicing securities lawyer since 2009 and is a partner at O’Neill Law LLP. Mr. O’Neill represents a number of start up companies and companies that are listed or quoted on the TSX Venture Exchange, Canadian Securities Exchange and U.S. over-the-counter markets. Mr. O’Neill has represented clients in a variety of industries in securities matters including public and private securities offerings, mergers and acquisitions, securities exchange listings, public company reporting requirements and corporate governance. Mr. O’Neill is a licensed to practice law in British Columbia, Nevada and Washington.

Joseph Perino

Director

Mr. Joseph Perino was the Professor Coordinator of the Police Foundations Program and from 2006 to 2010. Mr. Perino was the Professor of Community Studies Department at the School of Community and Health Studies. Mr. Perino has 40 years of experience with the Toronto Police Service with a proven and demonstrated understanding of police governance. From 2001 to 2005, Mr. Perino served as Staff Sergeant of the Community Response Unit and Primary Response Unit and as Detective Sergeant with the Criminal Investigation Bureau, Street Violence Task Force and Vice and Major Crime Squads. Mr. Perino has proven his ability to manage the needs of various and diverse communities while delivering effective police service in a safe and culturally sensitive manner.

Jerry Habuda

Director

Mr. Jerry Habuda brings over 35 years of expertise in law enforcement and specialized units. From 1977 to 2012, he served as a police officer with the Toronto Police Department. During his tenure, he was assigned to the Major Crimes Unit, investigating robberies and home invasions. He was assigned to patrol the Toronto Community Housing projects at Jane/Finch to control drug trafficking and gun violence. Mr. Habuda was with the Warrant Unit where he tracked down and arrested wanted criminals. From 1993-1997, he was assigned to the Northwest Drug Squad on undercover and surveillance work, executing narcotic search warrants. Between 2002 and 2004, Mr. Habuda headed the Street Violence Task Force, a special unit designed to curb gun and drug violence that was terrorizing the city at the time.

Chris Hornung

Director

Mr. Chris Hornung has been vice-president of Kenex Manufacturing Co. in Brampton, ON., since 1999. During his time with the company, he has co-founded and built several new divisions; Kenex Coatings in Mississuaga, Ont., is the premier service provider in finishing technology. Mr. Hornung is a partner in and is responsible for several different real estate holding companies in Vaughan and Brampton, ON.
